The casagrande porous tube piezometer is used to monitor piezometric water levels in ground. Monitoring is performed with the help of Water level indicator/sounder.

Typical application includes:
→ Monitoring pore-water pressure in slope stability, embankments, land fill dykes, earthen dam etc.
→ Monitoring of ground improvement techniques such as vertical drains, sand drains and dynamic compactions etc.
→ Monitoring dewatering scheme for excavation and underground openings.
→ Monitoring seepage and ground movement in embankment, landfill, dykes and dams.
→ Monitoring water draw down during pumping test.

Specification
Porous tube piezometer is made of carborundum tube of length 150mm, 37mm ±1mm OD, 6mm ±1mm wall thickness, total length 600mm with tie rods.
Stand Pipe: 25mm OD, 19mm Id, 3m long
Protective Pipe: 50mm / 100mm /150mm dia, 1m long metallic pipe with protective lock.
