Surface settlement point is made of MS rod having 16 mm dia and cross mark on one side top. It is also available in different diameter and length depending on requirement. The standard diameter is 25mm and length 250mm, 500mm, 700mm and 1000mm.

The surface settlement points are used to monitor the surface settlement of structure. It is generally installed at the surface of structure using concrete blocks to ensure the intactness with surface which is moveable.
The reading is taken using Digital level/ Total Station and staff.
